RACE DAY October 12, 2008 |
| Course Map [click here for pdf map] [5K MAP] Race starts on the corner of Osos and Higuera in downtown SLO. Race follows Higuera south , crosses under 101 (5 miles), then continues south on Ontario to San Luis Bay Drive. Turn left go over the freeway (7 miles), then turn left (North) on Monte Rd. Go approx. 1 mile to the turnaround (8 mi) then back on Monte heading into Squire Canyon. The road eventually ends @ Avila Beach Rd (10 mi). Turn right, travel approximately 100 meters, then turn left (south) on Shell Beach Rd. Travel south until Windward Rd. Turn right travel to the end of the road, turn left @ Ocean Blvd, then Finish @ Ocean Blvd and Cliff Dr intersection (13.1) (map below) |
